Overview

These Learning Paths were developed to provide effective and updated skills, abilities and methodologies to entry and mid level designers . These self-paced learning paths are subdivided into three MOOCs sections: Explore the field, Become a Professional and Specialize. Each MOOC includes an evaluation and a real project to portray in their own portfolio.

I was the first person from Platzi Education Team assigned to this project and brought someone else to team up later. I used ADDIE as our main framework. Project based learning, Discovery learning, Adaptive learning and Dr. Merril's first principles of instruction as main guides both for the curriculum design and the instructional design of each MOOC.

We achieved growth both on our acquisition and retention metrics through strategic, focalized, measured initiatives based on research both on our students and feedback from the design tech industry; fostering strong relationships with international stakeholders and prompting active engagement with the students and teachers community.
